Save the Children Youth is a volunteer-based organisation, working towards empowering and educating children and young people on decisions affecting their lives.

We believe all young people should have the opportunity to use their knowledge and experience in project related work.

Through capacity building and concrete project work our focus is strengthening our volunteers´involvement in their work for and with children expanding their local and global awareness of their society.

We believe we can inspire and learn from each other through our commitment on youth participation.

Our mission includes:

• Assuring the rights of all children are enforced in accordance with the United Nations’ Convention on the Rights of the Child.

• Raising awareness on all children’s rights to influence issues impacting their lives.

• The promotion of the United Nations’ Convention of the Rights of the Child among children and youth.
