Intro / Asylum
Living at an asylum centre is often characterised by great uncertainty. A large number of the children spent most of their childhood at the centres, where they often travel from centre to centre, depending on where their case is in the application process. Child Rights Ambassadors arranges activities for children at the Danish asylum centres, such as sports, cooking, creative activities, excursions etc. The goal is to give the children a break from their everyday lives at the centre and to experience something else than just being an ‘asylum child’.
